Global technology providers and experts will discuss the latest connected and automated transport use cases and implementation insights with an Australian audience across three interactive online events in November and December 2026.
As connected and automated technologies transform transport globally, Australia needs visibility of emerging innovations, real-world deployments and international expertise to remain safe, productive and sustainable. CCAT International 2026 will connect Australian stakeholders with the technologies, insights and partnerships shaping the future of transport.

Understanding the global technology pipeline is vital in order for Australia to its transport challenges and remain competitive. This year, it is harder than ever to travel. CCAT International 2026 provides and accessible way to connect Australian stakeholders with the technologies, insights and partnerships shaping the future of transport.
These organisations will discuss the latest findings and lessons from deployments of connected and automated vehicles and infrastructure. The program will include use cases that are relevant to Australia across roads, mining, ports, aerial mobility, agriculture and other sectors. Speakers and attendees will get the chance to connect in an interactive setting.

Whether you're showcasing world-leading technology, sharing lessons from deployment or looking to explore the Australian market, CCAT International 2026 provides a unique platform to connect with Australia's transport ecosystem and build partnerships that will accelerate the future of transport.

The Centre for Connected and Automated Transport (CCAT) provides national leadership to support the optimal deployment of connected and automated transport. In 2023, CCAT took a delegation of Australian leaders from industry and government to Europe to gather information on trials, research and implementation of new transport technologies.
We brought back valuable learnings on use cases and implementation approaches, including the finding that Australia needs to take a more strategic approach to the implementation of connected and automated transport in order to solve its transport challenges, but first, we must understand the global technology pipeline. CCAT International 2026 gives Australia another opportunity to connect with the world of future transport, without the need to travel.
To share your views, click the ‘Make a Submission’ button.
You can make a written submission that responds to the questions in the Discussion Paper, focuses on one or more of the Summit themes (safety, productivity, sustainability, social legitimacy and infrastructure) or provides broader ideas and insights based on your experience and from the perspective of your organisation. You may also choose to respond to the Discussion Paper questions directly in the ‘Make a submission’ form, rather than via an attachment.
Submissions should be short and focused. We recommend a maximum of 2 pages or around 1,000 words. If you would like to submit a longer document, please include a clear and concise summary.
We encourage submissions from individuals, organisations and communities across all sectors. Your voice is important and will help inform the national conversation on Australia’s transport future.
