Infrastructure and Productivity Consultation Workshop

Have Your Say: Infrastructure & Productivity in Australia’s Transport Future

The Summit
Consultation Workshops

Join us for a targeted consultation exploring Productivity and Infrastructure—two of the five core themes shaping the National Future Transport Summit 2025. This combined workshop will examine how connected and automated transport can unlock economic performance, improve infrastructure efficiency and support smarter investment across Australia’s transport networks.

This session will unpack key opportunities and challenges from the National Future Transport Summit Discussion Paper, including:

  • Streamlining infrastructure and supply chains across road, rail, ports and air
  • Boosting productivity in key industries like agriculture, mining, freight and tourism
  • Physical and digital infrastructure needs for supporting emerging technologies
  • Navigating investment, ownership and coordinated national planning
  • Planning for scalable, flexible infrastructure that adapts to rapid change

Your insights will help shape a coordinated national approach that considers strategic investment attraction, supports industry development, and prepares infrastructure for scalable connected and automated transport systems.

This workshop is part of a national consultation series supporting the National Future Transport Summit 2025. Insights gathered will directly inform the draft recommendations to be tested, debated and agreed upon at the Summit in September 2025.
