Peter is the Director of Policy Implementation at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

A seasoned professional with more than 15 years’ experience in road transportation regulation, Peter oversees the NHVR’s crucial work on heavy vehicle technical standards, the safety duty and chain of responsibility, along with the production of industry standards, information and guidance documents.

As the leader of the NHVR’s Future Heavy Vehicle work, Peter has proved a committed and driving force supporting the accelerated uptake of advanced safety technologies, connected and automated vehicles, and the transition to alternate fuels.

Peter is a passionate supporter of Australia’s heavy vehicle industry, and is dedicated to supporting a safer, more productive and sustainable future sector through collaborative and cooperative policy development and implementation.
