Professor Simone Pettigrew

Program Director & Professorial Fellow, Health Promotion, Food Policy

Simone is a Professorial Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health and the University of New South Wales. Her specialty areas are behavioural psychology, consumer research, public health, and health policy. Since 2017, Simone has conducted numerous large-scale studies on the potential public health benefits of autonomous vehicles. This research has been funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council, the Australian Research Council, PATREC, and the Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre. To date she has published more than 20 journal articles on the health benefits of autonomous vehicles.
