Robert Giltinan is the Group Director of Policy & Public Affairs at the NRMA. To support and enhance the reputation of one of Australia’s most well-known and trusted brands, he leads a team of passionate experts across policy, advocacy, government, community and stakeholders, and represents the organisation on numerous government, industry and community panels, including at the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile).

Robert has extensive experience in government, most recently working as an advisor and principal parliamentary liaison for NSW Premier Mike Baird. Through collaborating and partnering with government, industry and community, he has supported the development of new road- and transport-related legislation, the trialling of automated vehicles in NSW, the rollout of public charging infrastructure for EVs, and motoring safety regulations.
